Travel Work by Vehicle?

Post by ballypowerhouse »

I was looking into a few networks and they want a picture of your van with your company name and phone number on it.

Question is, does it have to be a van? Will a truck work or another vehicle as long as it has your company name and phone number on it?

-Same thing happened to me when I first joined. You don't need a van or even a vehicle with lettering, (though both would come in handy). Just let the networks know that you do only windshield repair. In my state (California) as well as many others, as a sole proprietor we can only use removable signage, (magnetic signs, etc) on vehicles. The networks are aware that in many cases your private vehicle and personal vehicle is the same.

Oh, ok. Great! I was hoping to use my truck because I see around here that many people use old looking white vans

You don't need a big clunky van to make a good living in this business. You just need enough room for your toolbox.

In fact I just had my truck repainted and they gave me a Kia Spectra as a loaner and I never missed a beat.
