So im out early doing some cold calling in a pretty much empty buisness mall find a chip and sell the repair I start the repair and notice the car next to it also has one.I walk in and sell the repair takes less than 2 minute come out and The Tool box is gone again DUH that was dumb still have the injector that was on the glass and thanks to Super Bill at LR ( this is where im very happy to be a ACT user they just transfer my incoming checks until im paid) New stuff on the rocket trip to me Live and Learn empty lot no one in sight think maybe it was aliens beamed it up. LOL

Man, I hate to hear that. I have often left my tools out in the open and was curious if they would be there when I returned. I guess I've been lucky so far.

Why in the first place would you walk away with your tools out in plain daylight? And you said "AGAIN"

I have been ripped off years ago in the middle of the night from a locked bed cover. That was enough for me. My truck had an alarm installed. After the fact!
Everything was hauled in each night from that day.
Even now days even if I am working a lot and I have to walk away I will put the tools in the truck and lock it...

You live in CAL. of all places they watch everyone and wait for a 30 second opportunity.
My B-in-law lives in LA and is a mobile service tech, he works from the back of his hatch back, lives down with the {racial slur removed by moderator} as he calls them. Most leave him along but he does not trust them as far as he can spit.

We even built a steel frame box to hid his tools in when he has to walk in to customers house to do his jobs and all his extra tools and supplies are in his car...

With everyone out of a job, I do not trust anyone know days.

Back on the subject I have always been trusting and leave the box if im only a few feet away. 5 years of doing this I finaly paid the price was time to upgrade the injectors anyway but live and learn
