"Square" Easy Credit Card Payment!

Ok, ladys and gents. I was playing around with the Square app.
For you folks, THAT dont use credit cards..
Their is a cash payment, part of this system.
So you fix a window, the customer pays you cash/check, it will send a email to your customer. intern they will get a link. to the square site. you can take a picture of the window, you fixed and it will geo tag the location. and it shows their payment to you, and gives a map..
Very cool for a quick invoice type system..

Remember, this works on the app. even if you dont have the credit card working yet...

Well, I loaded the app on my iphone, their was a signup procedure. It did ask me for bank Info and SSN, etc..
The system sent me a email, telling me it would make 2 deposits, to my account..This is normal.. its is 1 to 2 cents..etc
so I will keep you up to date...
The rate seems fair 3.75% plus .15 trans fee...
Time will tell.....

How come your rate is higher than what is posted on their website? It says 2.75% + .15 if card present and 3.5% +.15 if no card present.

I just checked my agreement with my current provider and it looks like I am locked in for another year and half Advice: Be sure and read the fine print when you sign up with anyone. Anybody have any experience in cancelling a merchant services agreement?

Ok, i did get my 2 test deposits from Square, this week. and verified my account..So we will see if i get a dongle in the mail......
