Glasweld G3fusion Kit

Post by Turkey »

We moved to a different state and no longer do windshield repair. It has been a good system. I spent over 2000.00 on it.

The kit includes: G3 injector, injector stand, corner/edge stand, crack expander, radial uv curing lamp with extra bulb, moisture evaporator, rain blocker, hole tapper, two mirrors, probe, cordless drill and various new and used bits, uv blocker, new complete seal package, two injector pistons, bulls eye maker, resins including magnibond and more.

900.00 plus shipping.

Thanks

Nice Reply - On A serious Note I do like the looks of the G3Fusion with there ProCur Lamp. So experts has anyone compared
this with the Delta Kits? I think Delta sounds better with Help and things but could someone who has used both comment?

Thx

That statement was made on a serious note. I've been in the business for many years and have used three (3) different brands of windshield repair equipment, sorry to say, not the brand in reference in this thread. I've found none to be as user friendly and as effective at completing the tasks at hand as Delta Kits.

So, I take umbrage at the the fact that you think I made my original statement in jest. I can promise you I meant every word.

I thought you were joking too especially after you said you have never used a GW system.

I have used both along with a large list of other types of equipment, I now use Delta only.

You know, I am not sure wether it is allowed or not (and I do not care) to post something ''open-minded'' like this, but this is what you get when people see something and want to get it. And want to get it NOW. Buy, buy, buy. Do NOT think, just get it.

I have seen that happening many, many times before. It is mainly caused by the dangerous I-do-not-want-nor-have-to-think-about-this, I-just-grab-my-credit -card syndrom. The credit card system makes it too easy to just over-spent, waste, money. For what?

I would say: many, too many, kits are collecting dust, within 12 months after they were purchased.
Come on newbies, think, prepare yourself, do NOT believe anything you read, hear or see, here on this forum or any other place.
You are very, very silly to think or even believe that you can be as succesfull as others in our trade.
If you want to be involved in this business, just find a job somewhere, for a year or so. Do NOT waste any money.
Gain experience, be trained, than decide what you want.

I would strongly advice to NOT start in this trade without proper preparations. Without a training, without support (I wish trainings were mandatory!).
But if you do, and you give up at some point, you're stuff won't be worth a lot if you have to sell it on the market place.
The stuff above is not worth more than $500.

I would personally NOT pay anything for used chemicals such as resin. Not a dime. NEVER.
I would ONLY pay for the hardware, ie: UV-Curing-Lights and Injectors.
I don't care for small bits and pieces, they cost nothing if you buy them brand-new. If I buy a used kit, I always DUMP the chemicals, because the chemicals are TOO bloody important for what we do. I don't trust it and do not want to take any risk, the chemicals are dumped. Thus the value is zero.

I mean: it all adds up to the list, and it is easy to come up with an impressive contents-list that way, but YOU HAVE TO see through that long contents list.
That is the reason why I NEVER pay a high price for used stuff. I don't care for the silly ****, nor the ''chemicals'', I just want the basic hardware.
If you are going to offer your stuff, for whatever reason, you should NOT think, NEVER, that you will be making proper money.
Therefore (again), please prepare yourself, think, do proper research and, most of all: do not believe everything you've been told.
