Well, how are you guys doing with your swooper flags? Just curious I had to order one myself, cost me 80 dollars with shipping and all, I did not think that was to bad.

Hello Corey,

Unfortunately I missed the NWRA conference. I am however NWRA certified now, and also got interviewed from the AGRR national magazine, in the June 2010 issue.

I am curious what the swooper flags are used for. I have been using a 10'x10' EZ-up canopy with a bright yellow banner with my info on it. The harsh wind gusts does cause a problem off and on, unless I have it staked into solid ground. I would like to see the swooper flags and find out where to purchase them.

Thanks, Mark Huckle

They are used for advertisement.

Congratulations on getting your NWRA certification. As t4k said the swooper flags are used primary for advertisement. You can Google the term swooper flag and find a number of vendors that sell them.

I feel with the right positioning and the correct winds the Swooper Flag is the very best way to go. I would encourage however not to do too much signage. Sometimes that can be not only a little confusing but "Tacky" in some people's taste.

2 Swooper Flags placed on both sides of your vehicle with tire stakes and a canopy w/ 1 banner is plenty!

The banner should also just be straight to the point! Windshield Repair for example!
