MSDS

Post by gekog »

Does anyone have a competed Material Safety Data sheet for especially Delta Windshield and Headlight Kits?

If it is a completed sheet, and is sent out via the forum, or even by private message, it can serve 3 purposes. First, it can save us newbies alot of time. Second, it can be altered (where need be) to contain any different stuff we may have, and lastly, it can be the basis for a standardized (but editible) form for all Windshield/Headlight techs that want to be and look professional.

Thanks

If you contact your supplier they will probably be able to supply you with the proper documents.
We have a MSDS for all chemical products, and these docs come straight from our suppliers. Be it resin, or a solvent, coating or compound (paste), we have the docs available. In any kit we have, just in case.
In fact....your supplier may be forced by the law to help you with the information.

If I were you, I would not change any of the included information. It is a ''legal'' document, do not mess with the information.
If you want you can add your business name, but why would you? It is not your product, you are just a user.

We provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for every product we sell, if there is one available. If a technician can not find his or her MSDS they can call (800) 548-8332 or email info@deltakits.com us and ask for it. These are in PDF format, for easy viewing and printing, so to view/print these files, you'll need a program that reads PDF files.

Thanks Frank and Kory. I didn't realize that I will get these with my Delta kits when I pick them up. In my brief reading and the article in the Wise Crack, it wasn't clear to me where these MSDS' came. Now....I know.

ps....Frank, I've been reading alot of the forum stuff and I can see that you not only contribute alot, but even better, you know your stuff.

You are correct the Wise Crack Article did not explicitly state that we provide Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) for every product we sell, if there is one available. Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I am sure this thread will be helpful to those inquiring about Delta Kits providing MSDS sheets. We look forward to meeting you in person in a couple of weeks!

I keep a msds sheet on all my chem in my kits. Delta Kits has been good about sending them with every order I make. I can't think of anything I dont have a sheet for, for both WSR or HLR. I have 2 MSDS at my Job site as a plant Operator 3 inches thick each. I get most of my data from the companies that produce the products and OSHA.
