I just saw a this commercial today. I think it was on ESPN. It's actually a cool commercial... good eye candy for a wsr guy. Cool special effects showing a w/s cracking out, etc. Too bad we know the truth about their real motives. Funny thing is seeing their guy working on a repair. You suppose that's the first time he had used his repair kit?

I need a cool commercial like that. Maybe the NWRA can produce a cool TV Ad like that and "rent" it to us.

I have seen the same commercial on ESPN several times now and agree with the eye candy part. However, being brand new to wsr, I received my Delta Kit yesterday, I hope the commercial will open the eyes of potential clients and make them aware of wsr. I think the commercial can work to our benefit if we can some how "play" offf the advertising. As I said, I am still a novice, but would enjoy reading what other established wsr specialists have to say.

This thread reminded me of something I'll be including in my ads:

100% locally owned & operated

I know I prefer to patronize local business when possible. I'm sure I'm not alone.

if NWRA, Delta or anybody decides to produce a "Generic" TV Commercial that we can pay to air locally, I would vote for Janet and Justin to be the spokespeople

Dave.

As phony and contrived as that brainless "accident" and set-up was concerned, Janet and Justin together would be better represented as spoke's persons for bait and switch replacement shops.

(When I say "both", I'm referring to the so-called talent and not a singular one of two objects of our attention).

What you actually saw was a replacement enhanced with polish and shine although I didn't notice any valid reason for replacement but hadn't viewed the original.

I haven't checked the Safelite dumpsters, yet.

I admit that whoever did the replacement did a pretty good job with the exception that they either didn't apply the correct adhesive or didn't knead it properly before its application.

If you want to use a video for your ads, use that one. It's a dramatic and eye-catching indication of how one side of a windshield can pop out if not installed properly.

Just don't know why I invested all of that money in a flat screen when 3D seems to be the way to go
