Best Businesses To Call On For HL Restorations

Post by abcinabq »

Trying to cut to the chase, some businesses I've called on to show a demo, or ones I do WR's for, have shut me down on hazy headlight repairs.
They say we already pay our "make ready" shop 100 bucks to clean up the used car arrivals, and to add another overhead cost is not worth it.

These lots are high end too, like Infiniti. I tell them that my work would help them sell the units faster; who wants to buy a car with ugly hazy and scratched lenses?

Commercial fleets with really bad lenses on old Dodge's and Fords, tell me many times they just don't drive at night, so it's no big deal. I have worked for some companies that do care however and the restorations make their vans look like new, very impressive upgrade.

There seems to be a huge market out there working the Big Rig over the rode trucks. Some I see are horrible, I just haven't tapped in to that yet, and would love to know where to start to get it.

I'm not a street vendor and don't want to be, that's why I don't work under tents.
Your thoughts would help in this matter.
