When I started this business, I probably did 50 practice repairs before I provided my first real customer repair. That first customer repair wasn't what I expected. Why? Because it wasn't done in my garage under perfect conditions. It was different. Think about that! What your working on in the garage is not the same as you'll ever experience in the field. If you really want to perfect your skills, your practice shields need to be set outside and be subject to the environment conditions prior to repairing. Try it...it may help you become a better windshield tech.
