Hello All,
I am in the early stages of getting my WSR and HLR business up and running. I bought my kits from Delta and cant wait to get out there and start making some money...but I just reallized that winter is fast approaching and am wondering what you all do to stay busy during the cold and rainy months of the year. I live in central CA so our winters are pretty mild, but Im still concerned about getting my business going during the winter. Any thoughts or comments are greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Winter months...

Re: Winter months...
People get chips on their windshield year round.
The smart people get them repaired as soon as possible.
I dont see winter having much effect on your business.

Re: Winter months...
You'll be fine. The hardest challenge for me is the amount of daylight I have to work and getting the windshield up to temp to repair. Other than that it is no big deal. People still get rock chips in the winter. Make sure to have a UV lamp in your tool box for the days when it is cloudy and perfect your dry out techniques.
Re: Winter months...
After 3pm in mid Oct thru late May you gotta have your UV light out and ready. Even in so cal where the days are often clear year round i have been fooled. I like the weather but it sure can foul up a repair.
