Insurance Payment
Insurance Payment
How long on average does it take to get paid through the insurance companies? I did a windshield repair on the 6th of this month (December 2010) and still haven't received payment yet. Don't knownif this is normal or not.

Re: Insurance Payment
Most pay within 30 days and others may stretch your payment for as long as 90 days. If you disclose more information as to who was billed I could probably share more.scrubs147 wrote:How long on average does it take to get paid through the insurance companies? Re: Insurance Payment
It is actually "QuickFixx" who is doing the processing. So far I like how they operate as their system so far is really user friendly, however I am new to this sort of thing with the networks so wasn't sure what to expect as far as length of payment.

Re: Insurance Payment
As Quick Fixx probably told you, they pay on the 5th and 20th of the month on anything that they have received from the Insurance companies. The EFT payments hit my checking account normally a day or 2 later. My experience is that most of the insurance companies pay within 30 days and a few may take 5 - 6 weeks to get funds to Quick Fixx. The newest administrator at Quick Fixx (Stephanie) seams to really be on top of the accounts. I think that there were some delays caused by the previous one.

Usually with most it is withiin 20-30 days is what we find.
Re: Insurance Payment
im with quickfixx also.. it just depends on which insurance company.. just do the quick pay option and u are garuenteed to get paid... and quickfixx is now switching to paying out every week instead of 2 times a month
Re: Insurance Payment
I have been using the quick pay option but still do not see anything and it will be a month now coming up on the 6th of January.

Re: Insurance Payment
I don't know, but reading your question I just guess that this may have been your very first claim -right?
Are you sure that they have received your claim? And if they did, did they transfer the money into the appropriate account? Or was it a check? Has that been mailed yet? If so, when? Went something wrong with the mail? Has it been returned to them?
You see, there are so many questions. It is hard, in fact impossible, to answer your question for anybody here on the forum. If I were you, I would simply contact the insurer and kindly ask them what has happenend. Don't be affraid, they wont eat you and it is NOT silly to be asking for your money. Contact them tomorrow, that will be the first working day. Good luck.

Re: Insurance Payment
I have already contacted them twice. I submitted online which they said that is the fastest way to go. There is then an online folder where you can check to see if the insurance company has paid QuickFixx. So far, it shows that the insurance company has yet released any payment. All of the above questions have been followed up on. I don't just throw a question out there without first exercising the obvious.
Re: Insurance Payment
the reason bein is because with Quick Fixx the Quick Pay option was down last month so their is no way you could have submitted it with quick pay.. I am with Quick Fixx also.. I will msg you my number so you can call me and I will explain everything to you and answer any questions you have.
