Yes there is a big difference between scaring due to an incomplete repair and normal scaring on a nicely completed repair. I tell customers they can usually expect an 80% or better improvement on the visual aspect. And those with larger than usual impact holes will always have more visible scaring where the pit resin replaces the surface that was chipped out.
