Just had to tell someone else :)
My flight is booked, my hotel is reserved, and I’m registered for the Sept. 23rd training by Delta Kits in Eugene.
A special thanks goes to Brent and Korey, these guys are great! They are always there and will bend over backwards for you.

The Training is Great. I attended in May 2010. Relaxed environment, very friendly and helpful staff....they "take care of you" and teach you a lot in the class too!

Where are you going from? How much total without meals? I've been doing this for a looong time, but would like to go to see how much more I can learn!
Maybe Korey will move back to Atlanta, and I can just buy him lunch plus training(Matthews Caffeteria in Tucker)!!!

You'll benefit greatly from the training. You will gain a lot of confidence. I fall back on these guys so often and they are always willing to help. My only advice would be to not be the least bit shy and ask as many questions as possible and create as many scenarios as possible to better your experience. Though this I don't rely on windshield repair as my only source of income, many on this board do, and I've also learned a lot on here. This was definitely the best investment I have ever made. Good luck to you!

Re: Just had to tell someone else :)
I went to training almost three years ago. Seems like just yesterday. I made the trip from NC and returned just under 48 hours. I had 2 hours to rest when I got there and flew back within 2 hours after the class. You will enjoy the class. Fine tune is what I got from the class. I really like the staff and Brent. It helps to know the people you are dealing with. I have nothing but positives to say about Delta Kits. I have never regreted the trip or purchasing the kits. Your customers are not going to line up at your front door or tent. This is the part only you can do with a sound marketing plan and a out going attitude. Selling is not a sometime thing you do. You sell every chance you get. Be positive and believe in your product and your ability to do the job. I am still learning. If I get into a bind, I call for advice. I also use the forum and seek the knowledge of people like Screenman, SGT, and others that are true professionals in WSR with years of experience. By attending class you also meet others that are at various levels and can share ideas and build rapport with. Have a good trip and enjoy your training. You dont need luck when you have Delta Kits behind you. Candyman

Re: Just had to tell someone else :)
Guys,
Thanks for sharing all your past experiences dealing with the training and great folks at Delta kits. I know it's a bit off, but reading this has really got me excited
usmc,
I'll be coming from Austin and my round trip flight was around $352.00. Room is around $80.00 a night, and I'll be staying two nights.
Thanks,
Eric

I participated in the Delta Kits Training in 2009 and I still feel it was the best business decision I have ever made. It was well worth the investment and left me with a solid foundation. Also, I rely greatly on this forum and everyone's input. I usually check to see what's happening here at least once a day if not more. My entire experience with Delta Kits has been terrific.
