The double sided tape is not black, it is semi clear and you can see pretty good with the mirror. The blow dryer is to help the resin flow better.
I believe my hole needs to be a little larger so the vacumn process is better, that is where I am failing. This process is all about improvements right?
Who is to say that Delta couldn't develop a curing tab with a clear but strong adhesive on the backside with the perfect size hole already in it. If it works, it could eliminate capping a pit and reduce the drilling process, which is scary for new people. I am going to try it again using a heated nail to create a larger hole to see if that eliminates the air bubbles during the vacumn process. Does Delta offer a extended class for problem areas such as drilling and cracks etc.?

Heat does not make the resin flow better, however it does cause the glass to expand making the legs look like they are filled.
If drilling is scarey for new guys they have not done enough practise.

Practice based on what learning curve? That is okay, I would rather you not reply if that is okay.

Mine too, Screenie. Newbies don't know what they are missing by asking you NOT to respond to their inquires. That's what I thought was so funny by this person's response.bill lambeth wrote:Your my hero screen!
