Hail storms
I haven't been in business long enough to experience the results of one, so how is it after a damaging hail storm? Are you swamped with repairs or is mostly replacement jobs?

Re: Hail storms
I live in Kansas and we get hail and strong winds as well. I wondered too how hail would affect our business. Hopefully someone will weigh in on this.

Re: Hail storms
I never have done any repairs from Hail in North Eastern Kansas. When we do get Hail it's either Pea sized or Softball sized not much in between, Pea sized no damage and of couse Softball sized forget it for repairs, the replacement companies do a lot of business around here then.

Re: Hail storms
Ditto. I've seen plenty of hail storms hit local dealers over the years with thousands of cars damaged. They don't give us any repair work, because it either does no damage to glass, or damages it beyond repair. Cracked/smashed w/s and shattered side/rear glass? Yes. Repairable Stars and bullseyes? Nope.
