I found a guy selling a marketing system for WRS that he claims will teach you to make $800 to $1500 a day. Is this for real or just boosting the numbers just to sell his material. and if he is jacking the numbers to make a buck I don't want a thing to do with him.

I have seen a lot on sales here in the forum. Does a guy really need to invest in these marketing programs? I do not mind spending the money to make money, just do not want to waste my time or money on false claims. Nor do I want to try to reinvent the wheel.

Has anyone of you invested in any of these marketing systems and what was your results after you put it to the test? Which system did you buy.

Mark, I personally have devoted a large amount of time to researching this subject and have yet to find a marketing kit that will produce results enough to justify the expense. The numbers you cited tell me that the person or persons promise more than a realistic return on whatever investment they require. Not to say that some of the folks out there don't have any thing to offer but the value of their offerings are inflated and in a short time a person can develop their own customer base I have only been at the WSR biz for a short while and have had numerous repeat customers so I believe if you concentrate on doing good work coupled with customer service you'll do fine w/out the additional expense. You could benefit from the legal aspects of some of the info they provide but with a little searching (on this forum) and elseware you car get the info to provide a decent income with no help at all so.......... Just my 2 cents worth....
Good luck Scott :~)
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.

Mark,

If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is not. As you read through the forum, you'll realize that it IS possible to earn a good income with WSR IF you are willing to work at it. Not quoting Gandhi, but there are only two guarantees in life, taxes and death!

When I was little I was gulible my parents had me convinced there was a Santa Clause and Easter Bunny I mean man was I sold! It took awhile to figure out they were lying(still dont know why) The marketing systems I have seen making big claims must have been made by my folks cause when you break em down its just another Easter Bunny story. Think about it The average insurance claim for one break is $55 the average fleet repair is $35 so do the math $1500 per day damn I smell Reindeer poo dont you?
(Sorry to break your heart Jeff I know you still believed in Santa)

Mark, Your Question has been brought up so much in the past ( over 5000 posts ) That I think that if a guy took all the free advice given here on the forum - condensed it - put it into printed form - in a glossy covered book-complete with the Coitsters picture on the cover - and flowery testimonials from Desertstars.... You might just make a million bucks !!!!  Seriously, the amount of FREE information generously given by some of the experienced techs here is priceless, and I think that the further you get into this trade you'll realize you won't need any thing else. Welcome to the forum !! :D :D Bob

Hey Mark,
I have to comment on this post. First off ther person that wrote the marketing manual you are reffering to if you go back to the earlyer posts on this forum was actualy asking what was a network to begin with. Now I don't know about you but personaly I wouldn't take advice from someone who has been doing insurance business for less then a year and then claims you can make a fortune everyday. I have been in this business for 12 years and I have never every heard of anyone makeing close to that. I personal on a really good day can do as much as $500 dollars, but that is a really really good day and I can't reproduce that every single day. Be very carefull of what marketing systems you buy. Their are a lot out there and I only know of 1 system made by someone how at the time had 9 years experiance. Also he isn't even in the biz anymore. Like others have said you will find a wealth of information on this forum. So many people have devoted their time to it they sould be commended for all the help that they give. I am very appriciative of all those people who make this forum what it is today.

The only one making money on the marketing info is the people who sell it, pullup a chair, grab a cold one and absorb everything you can by reading this forum. Everything you need to know and some things you never thought of are right here on this forum.

Which brings up another subject why doesnt david write a manual?
We could call it the "Wsr world acording to Coit"all joking aside people would buy it and as much money as they spend on these lame systems a couple hundred bucks to learn the real deal from someone who actualy makes a good living in the field would be money well spent Dave you tell us you only work 3 days a week so it seems you have the time

I purchased Ron Ipacc's marketing system a few years ago, and I will never regret spending the money. The system works if you work the system. Now, having said that, there is a lot of information in the package that you can learn on your own if you have the time, energy and inclination. But if you are looking for a fast start, look into it. He gives a full money back guarantee if you can prove you actuallly applied his principals and they did not work for you... go ahaad, I dare ya! These forums contain a wealth of knowledge and wisdom (what is wisdom? ... its applied knowledge), and most of the people here are willing to share ideas that work for them. So dont be afraid to ask if you want to know something.
