Top 10 good decisions so far in 2004

Well here it goes:
1. Getting a G/L RLI policy for $216.
2. Finally getting the O and A done with State Farm so I can get paid the right way.
3. Meeting Coitster in Austin and learning a few more tricks in the business.
4. Got factory Delta Kits training when it came to Texas.
5. Learned how to do crack repair effectively.
6. Going full time first thing in 2004.
7. Got my truck lettered professionally and watching more jobs come in as a result.
8. Got set up with ACT and can now make money doing insurance wherever I go within the USA.
9. Buying a Delta kit.
10. Studying this forum and reaping the results every week on the street.

How did you go about getting your truck lettered professionally? Post a pic if you can.

Keep one thing in mind if you get your vehicle lettered with vinyl. When the time comes to remove them you have a major problem on your hands. When I was doing paint work the removal bill averaged around 300 $ to get them off.

A good solution to this problem is to letter the windows instead of the paint. I have used the magnetic signs in the past. They work well and they look good on a white vehicle, but I think the lettering just looks more professional. My old business partner thought the magnetics were a good idea because they could be removed when using the vehicle for personal use. My thought on this is that if you are doing this full time you want all the exposure you can get.

I have been lettering my vehicles for many years. Sure, its a hassle to get off, but a few hours with a hairdryer will get it all off. Magnetics are simple but in my opinion look cheap and nasty. If you are going to do it, then do it well, and if 3 or 4 hours of removal at the end of it is the cost then thats worth it.
