New Guy from San Antonio
Found this forum the other day and have been reading all the posts and absorbing a lot. I have read everthing except what's in the archive, but will also explore that next. I am retired Air Force, C-5 and C-141 loadmaster. Worked for the BNSF Railroad in Temple TX after that and became an Engineer and quit after only 20 months. Not for me. Moved to Ohio and worked for Airborne Express 4 years as a training instructor. Since relocated to San Antonio and am focusing on starting a business. I think WSR might be for me. Delta is having training later this month and I am thinking of going. What do those of you who have attended the training in Eugene think of it? Dave in Dallas, I sure would like to come up and spend the day with you and see how a real professional works the trade.

I live 40 Miles from Austin in Horseshoe Bay. I have not worked in SA but have thought about it a time or two.Maybe we can get together sometime and go make some money. I went to Dallas and trained with Coister and it is money well spent. You will make it back in no time.Go to the dollar store while you are there. Just do not let Coister get kicked out again for dancing on the tables and taking his shirt off.The training they provide is EXCELLENT. Jeff is a hard ass but other than that he is ok!

You read the whole forum?! Wow, you're eyes must be killing you.
Also, I didn't know Coitster was a professional, I thought he was just a figment of Jeff's imagination... or some sort of computer virus or something.... :-k
You found a good place to learn here.. it's the internet bible of w/s repair, and a place of strange people and silly faces too. :-$

Glassdoctor.
You got it wrong.
Jeff is a figment of Coitster's imagination and not the other way around.
Either that or they are in reality alter-egos.
Talbert.
What a nice town you live in with so much rich history.
Spent my basic training there and then in the mid-seventies stayed at the Hilton on the river during a business meeting hosted by the Trane Company.
A seven course dinner served on the boat as it traversed the circular route of the river.
Good that you reviewed the forum.
Based on that, you've already got a head start.
Most definitely, take the training.
