I received a letter from SGC Network to inform me that they are satisfied with the quality and quantity of auto glass partners in my area. ](*,) What a bunch of ( bleep ) I filled out the forms, answered their questions and was willing to comply with their pricing. Need some guidance from some of you that have dealt with this before. BTW, Lynx approved my application.

Glass Tek,

Can you email me all the information you have submitted to them and what they have returned to you?

I've never heard of this happening, and I wouldn't think they would be allowed to do that.

If you could get me that info, i'll see what I can find out for you.

Perfect!!!!

Every time you do a repair that "could" have been handled via SGC... Just send the Insurance Co. a copy of your denial letter (along with your other invoicies) and a request for direct payment. Tack on some extra $$$'s and let them know that if their "chosen" vendor would have "played fairly," you would have been happy to have utilized their chosen ones.

I bet Desert can expund on this one;)

S.G.C. told me the same. I had to call and find out what the problem was they told me to change something on application and resubmit it. It did not hurt that Jeff call them.

Hey Jeff, did you accidently hit the delete button? :D Oh and BTW I was cleaning the shop the other day and before I knew it I soiled my DELTA shirt. I'm afraid I may have stained it. Any chance of getting another, short of comming down for another training, not that that would be a bad thing I just have to much to do here :P Scott
My best mentor one said " be fair with your priceing but never too low, be honest with your customer/competition, when the day is done be sure you have done "good works", and always leave something of value on the barganing table!!

While my friend and trainer/ mentor Ray has moved on, his words live.

Someone asks for deserts input and DELTA deletes it off the screen..
I saw it also,,,, This is why I do not post to often. If Jeff does not like what he reads he just DELETES it...
Good show... how are we to talk when we know we can be deleted if you do not like what you read?

Maxryde,

You soiled your Delta Kits shirt??? I think you may have bigger issues than just getting a replacement, but sure, give me a call ;)

Don't worry about it dgarza!

There are certain people who, (coincidentally, usually they love their manufacturers equipment so much that they use it in their own screen names), love to jump on any hand editing or deleting that I have to do as a bias, or whatever.

Hmmm...Actually GT, they asked for guidance about what to do about this situation.

Good show...
You're absolutely right. Any time I read a post that has inappropriate language and content, I delete it. I will continue to do that.

I won't let this forum turn into the free for all, member flaming forum that others have turned into. If you don't like it you are free to leave.
gt_repair wrote:how are we to talk when we know we can be deleted if you do not like what you read?
You tell us, you've got 74 posts!

If you're worried that any time you use inappropriate language, I will delete it, you should be. If you're worried that any time you mention a competitor, i'll delete it, I think your posts are proof enough that this does not happen.

You pick any page of this forum, and somewhere in that list of posts, you will find
posts recommending Delta Kits, but also posts recommending other manufacturers.

Note to everyone: In the future, instead of hijacking a thread, if you have a concern with how this board is run, please feel free to private message me.

I for one am glad that we are on a list that has a moderator.

One of the threads that I started got locked after it became a negative post, actually getting out of control. There can be positive communication or negative communication. I too get carried away with stuff sometimes and that thread needed to be stopped, enough was said about the subject.
I was miffed at first and did not understand, gave it some thought and moved on.

The reason I came here was to learn about WRS and GROW my business. I can do that very well without being negative. If this forum had been a free for all, flaming ripping everyone apart board, I do not think I would have stayed around. I also would have missed out on all the FREE advice I get here on a daily basis. I am still amazed that so many different personalities can come together for the good of all, as for this new guy I'am grateful.

So anyway keep up the good work Jeff and thanks for the box of supplies you sent to me, with the candy even.

Mark
