Too much pressure

I had an easy break today with two legs and it fixed in about seven or eight minutes but I kept the pressure on, and it looked great, but from the inside or you could see the outlines of the crack but not from the outside, so I think I was using too much pressure. Is that the case? I took pictures but they didn’t turn out.
