Hello Everyone! :D

I just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself officially and say 'hi'. I couldn't believe my luck when I found this forum.

My husband (Scott) and I started out as Novus franchisees in 1989 in Sacramento, CA. Our main source of income was fleet work with some cash jobs. We sold our business, moved to Portland, Oregon where we did repair and replacement for two years. We used telemarketing to get business. We moved back to Sacramento and started telemarketing there. We stopped working for ourselves in '99. Scott has worked on and off as an installer since then, which is what he is doing now. I would like to get a repair income coming in so he can quit. (It's no fun working for someone else!)

We plan to repair mostly, with some cash replacements. (So if there is a replacement shop in the Portland Oregon area who would like some refferrals, let me know.) I would like to do business the way Coitster does, but not sure if I have the guts. Same with getting fleet work. I really like GlassStars method of car washes. This forum is overflowing with information.

We started out using equipment from Novus. Then GlassWeld, which is what we use now. Scott has used Delta kits.

It is great to have a place to come with all my questions. Everyone has been very nice and helpful. I hope to contribute with the same generous spririt that I have come accross here.

Welcome Julie,

It's nice to see more repair techs from Oregon on the forum. If you aren't already an expert at wet weather repairs, you will be soon. We look forward to your comments, tips and suggestions. If you ever get down to Eugene, be sure to stop in and see us.
