Need RLI Insurance - Need Broker to call me in Oklahoma.
Hello
I am trying to find a agent/broker in OKlahoma that can provide a RLI (windshield repair) insurance policy for liability reasons. I see here in the forum its a popular company catoring to WSR Techs. I have called RLI and they gave me a number to a agent who has not called me back. In the meantime I'm trying to move as quick as I can. If anyone knows a agent/broker that can help please provide him/her with my number
Thanks
Steve

you will have to go with what RlI gives you because they only use specific brokers. I went through the same thing here in northern oklahoma. I would just go by the brokers office and wait to speak with him or her. Mine didnt really seem to care much about writing this kind of insurance. It seemed like a chore for them. maybe they dont get that much for it. anyway when I did get them in gear and have it done it was only 215.00 for a year of 500,000. if they still dont reply I would call RLI back and let them know you need somebody now!
Hooky, I got the same run around from RLI when I called- they gave me an extention number for an agent who never returned my calls. If this is the case, stay on the line and ask for another agent. It worked for me and the other agent was glad to write my policy. Mine costs $176 for my area -Nebraska, for $500,000.
Also, glass tec - Garage keepers liability policies are for shops that have a store front. Such as replacement shops. It covers vehicles that are in your care custody and control. If you are strictly mobile you shouldn't need it. The general $500,000 business liability covers property damage and personal injuries to third parties. Example you go to move a customer car into a nearby shaded area, and back into a kid on a bicycle. (Covers the bicycle and injuries to the kid.)
I agree with dgarza - I don't think the agent makes much writing these policies as I tryed to go through two other agencies and no one got back to me with a quote. Keep after them. Good Luck

what is RLI Insurance?
Painlessplus,
I have to disagree with you about garage keepers. Garage keepers covers the customers car if you are driving it from one place to another. In your scenario, who pays for the dents or scratches in car that hit the boy on the bike? What if you backed into another car or someone drove into you?
I've researched this matter time and time again, General Liabiliy does NOT cover damage to the customers car while in your "care and custody". If you are mobile only and move vehicles, get garage keepers!
