Thanks Scott, it is nice to hear a good word. This is the way I am, will help anyone anytime. Hardly a day goes by without someone ringing my doorbell with a broken computer, tv, dvd, ect...

About a year ago I was driving down I 95 and saw an old couple with a flat, pulled over and put their spare on for them. The old guy tried to give me 20 bucks and I told him no, maybe someone will help me out one day.

He drove away and I got in my car and it wouldn't start #$&^#@, a while later a tow truck stopped and the guy said he would get me a jump for 75. Tried to give him a 20 instead but this buthead wanted 75. I told him to kiss my grits and then waited 2 hours for AAA to show up. I am still satisfied with my decision, that tow driver couldn't see an easy 20 and drove off with nothing.

$75 for a jump is horrible! I hate it when people take advantage of you like that because of the situation. About a month ago I accidentally locked my keys in my van and didn't have a spare or a slimjim in my pocket so was forced to call a company called LockPatrol. 1.5 minutes later and $59 my van was unlocked and I was ready to go home all pissed off. =(

Anyone in here locksmiths? Might not be such a bad addition. Except for the 3a.m.er's calling in drunk because their keys are in their car =P

Anywho.. Happy Repair'n

Let me get this right you earned $250.00 in four hours but do not want to pay $500 a month rent. Speculate to accumulate at your rate only working only 20 days a month 8 hours per day your potential would be $10.000. PER MONTH. YOU FOUND A GOLDMINE EXPLOIT IT.
to many people in this trade chase around doing loads of miles and only earning peanuts. THINK BIG. There is no pay when in between jobs.

Truck stops are either hot or cold, you have to be there at the right time, and sometimes these guys spend money and sometimes not. It has been slow lately because of the price of gas. These guys are having trouble paying their bills now. Soon I am going to take a week off from my regular job and spend the time there.

never knock people for earning a profit they might have sat there all day waiting for the one call you gave them. This forum is full of people like myself who do not hesitate to charge upwards of

25.00 is the least I will do a repair for, any less and it's time to walk away. I do a good business there and if the price were higher it would be a waste of time going.

And please dont use the word " idiot " when directing your post to me, I know how to run my business in this part of the woods.

CPR I apologize if you took the posying personal it was not meant a such it just seems to me that in this business we have a lot of people that down sell due to lack of sales effort this has kept the prices very low over the years I will not do a repair for less than

Thanks for clearing that up screenman, Another problem I have here is Florida is a free replacement state. Yes repairs are covered too but it seems that alot of people choose new glass, if the price is right they usually just pay the bill themselves for repair.
