Yesterday, when I posted, I was in too much of a hurry, about to leave work, so I think my post was too hasty.

What I should have said is: I'm planning to go for it, and sure, that might very well be a part time thing for me at first...

I would recommend to just about anyone to go for it in this business, but certainly I didn't mean to do it blindly. Do your research, as others have stated. Know your abilities too... but BELEIVE in yourself. If you are not a sales pro, you CAN be. Just don't let fear dictate your choices.

Well, actually, I picked up the nickname as a joke. A friend of mine called me Tuna once after he saw the movie "blow" with Johnny Depp. When I showed up at his building, the guard asked my name and I replied, "the tuna". The guard phoned him and said "the tuna is here to see you" and after that it just stuck.

Here's how it works though... call me tuna, not the tuna if you're talking to me. If your referring to me, then it's TheTuna.

lol

Nice to meet everyone. I'll be jumping back into the Houston, TX market just as soon as I can order supplies.

I sure wish this message board was around back 10 years ago when I first started out in WSR...
