Crack or Starbreak

What is the best way to fix a crack?

1. repair the crack first then the stone break?

2. or repair the stone break first then the crack?

Maybe this is a matter of preferrence. I was trained to repair the crack first, then the break, but I never could see why it would make a difference, except possibly that it is better to stabalize the crack to prevent it from advancing before you go messing with the original impact site.

I repair the break first without curing it just leave the injecter on the break, then fill the crack from the low end to the high end, if I have to drill the end of the crack to get it to fill then just do it and fill till done, then cure the resin.
no real right way or wrong way as long as it all fills!
