Billing direct..Do you need to sign up??

Hi,
I don't know if you need to sign up with the insurance companies if you bill direct, if so, please share a sample form to use to get insurance companies authorization. Thanks a lot for your help.

Hi Tomm,
The search feature will help alot but my personal advice (and I'm pretty new) is I have billed direct and gotten paid but with State Farm it's different. With them they will pay the insured and then hope the insured pays you or if you are a member they will pay you directly. I even had one with American Family that I couldn't get an authorisation or referal # and sent it snail mail( cause that's the only address I had) and payment got here before one with all info. and faxed. Both payments came from SGC. I don't know how they do things but try just submitting them and keep good records so you don't loose out) , maybe not the best advice but that's what I have done with the few I have had so far and looking forward to lots more!!!
