ok from state farm and lynx
i have been approved by state farm , and i have recieved a letter from lynx welcoming me to the Lynx service. i still have not heard anything from Allstate. the way i understand these letter is that i can start doing work for lynx customers. please imform me if this is not correct. will i ever hear from Allstate? thanks again for this forum. Hi Zach- If you got accepted by Lynx your welcome letter from Allstate should just be a formality. I assume you filled out an application as a glass service provider and selected a pin number at that time. What you should receive next will be an official letter stating" this confirms acceptance of your agreement." This letter takes about 30 days to receive and will also ask you if you would like to submit a "customized offer" of pricing to Allstate. My advice is to save everything you get in the mail and make copies of anything before you send it back, keep it in an organized notebook for future reference. I have had calls from both Lynx and Safelite asking for verification of information that I had originally gave them when I signed up- to update their files. Remember- You will be part of their network, your name will be given out as a preferred repair shop on a referral. Your business must represent quality service in the eyes of the customer from the network and the insurance company. In other words, these multi-million dollar corporations are counting on you, to take care of their customer in a professional manner. Make sure you follow the agreement and know the protocol for reporting claims for each insurance company. Also keep records/files/numbered invoices for future reference if needed. I have gotten a few referrals- and I'll jump through hoops to insure that I have a happy customer. Good Luck, Bob
