I fixed a chip crack out today on a brand spanking new Titan still with paper plates. I explained to him about the possibility of Titan body flex causing too much stress on the windshield and repair. He was not happy! Should I have told him or just kept it to myself? I didn't want anyone to think that the repair was no good if it began to run later.
Any of ya'll fixed Titans lately??

Is there some secret about the Titan? Guess that's a new one on me.

Even if there is an issue with a particular vehicle, I would keep any comments generalized so you don't sound like you are putting down his new ride $$$.

You can always wait until there is a problem to deal with it. Otherwise you are always talking about problems...

Why would you talk about body flex ? pitch the repair and back your work shake his hand thank him for the buisness and leave.
Think about it, the guy just made the biggest purchase of his life besides his house and some guy is telling him about body flex? walk up to the next H2 owner you see and start telling him all the flaws in the big beast and see if he stays happy then try to sell him something.
Customer satisfaction is all important and the key to sales sucess is knowing when to speak and when not to.

These trucks have been cracking out like nothing else out there from what I have seen. Next time I am going to say nothing. It will be interesting to see how the trucks hold up after repairs. If I begin to see a pattern of failure I won't touch them in the future.
Nice truck though!!! Inside and out it looks like the ultimate play truck! Maybe it will need zippers to change out the W/S every couple of weeks.

Scracthy,

I've had the chance to repair a couple of these Nissan Titans and haven't had a problem so far. Never......ever tell a customer their car or truck has some problems. If it does..... it's none of your concern, let their manufacture handle that. Some people love their trucks more than there wifes. Would you ever make that same statement to them against their wife?

I wouldn't!!!

I have worked on a few of those here too, also noticed certain vehicles get more chips on them. Maybe because of the glass angle who knows, this may a good thread to start anyway.

I have repaired several of the new Titans with no problems at all. Here I am seeing a lot of Durangos with repairs needed.
