I operate a mobile paint repair service and have posted a couple of time previously. I just purchased a used GM 2000 Deluxe Crack and Repair system today.
I am still planning on getting a new kit. Still trying to decide which system (Delta, GT, or Glasweld). All three have offered 30-day money back guarantees w/waived restocking. It really makes it tough to know which way to go when each one says theirs is #1 and will offer that kind of guarantee. So, I will probably purchase two NEW systems and return one. I am pretty sure one system will be Delta. The decision is whether to buy the Glasweld or Glass Technology (manual) system as the second system. I would love to hear any thoughts... I am leaning toward the Glasweld because they offer a 2-day class that is only 2-3 hours from my location. I doubt that I would be able to attend a Delta class and got the impression that it was fairly important to go to a class.
It sounds like lots of folks like the GT Diamond resins....?
I am off to pick up a windshield at the local salvage yard to use as my practice windshield.
I would love to hear any advice you all have (other than practice, practice, practice before I go out)!
Thanks in advance for any help,
Bill

Hey Billwags, where in VA are you located.
I bought one of the fancy GM2000 kits and have replaced all the included tools, even the tool boxes, except the injectors. I think this kit as sold is great for the business that uses WSR as an add on but doing full time volume requires some things have to be changed.
Check out the Delta kits, gooood stuff.

Any Tips On Getting Work Shirts
Billwags, I purchased the kit from GM back in March and attended the class in Las Vegas at the same time. I too would change a few things in the kit but love the two injectors that came with my kit. I also use the GM resin most of the time, but have tried Delta and L/R. Each does a good job if used properly with your equipment. Good luck..
