I went through my old receipts and saw I just made it one year is WSR! Things couldn't look brighter and I still wish I had gotten into it a looong time ago.

Major props go to:

Coitster for his timely advice and holding the standard high of how a great tech should perform like! (Honorable Mention)
Delta Kits for awesome tools, resin, this forum and training.
Glass Technology for making long crack repair feasible, reliable and profitable.
Glass Mechanix for injectors that can fill chips the size of chicken pot pies. (can I say that??) No need here to turn ANYBODY away that wants a chip fixed.
Liquid Resins for putting insurance billing in the hands of anyone STILL trying to figure out how to fix a windshield!

Seriously. I love you guys and my deepest gratitude goes out to all those listed above and everyone on this forum. I can't wait to see how this business evolves in the years to come. Yee haa!

WTG Man,
Great to hear things are going so well for you. Most people don't make it a year because they don't bother to perservire. :( It's always awsome to hear about other techs making a great life for themselves.

I use the GM power-vac injectors in addition to the Delta adjustable injector. I think its the only GM injector they sell. It can hold alot of resin when needed.

My perseverance is saved for my flight training!
I presently fix those I'm called on to do, but the other 6 days a week I spend driving 500 miles in a truck.

I started having trouble with my GM power-vac injector leaking and spilling resin on me, took out my Delta b300 and found that it did a much better repair then my GM ever did. I really wish Delta would come out with a bigger injector to use on trucks, hint hint................
