Really no different than any other verticle glass filled a couple bulls on a big ugly yellow one 2 weeks ago

Don't forget how darn hard it is to reach the WS!!! I have to stand on the front tire and lean way over to get the chips in the middle. No fun.

I just did one the other day and it turned out great.
I popped the hood and stood on the tire to do my repair that was dead center in the shield. Just take your time,it is a bit awkward.

I did one a few months ago that was a top dead center hit. It was a awkward repair!

Like GlassStarz said, just treat it like any other verticle shield repair. One thing to mention, take your time and be very patient with this one because you certainly don't want to crack this one out. If that were to happen.... your not going to find many glass shops wanting to tackle a replacement on these Hummers. Cowl and trim pieces are all painted and need to be removed prior to cutout.
The time, risk and effort involved with replacing that shield isn't worth the hassel for the profits margin paid by insurance.

We are a full service auto replacement shop in Wisconsin...we were a little scared at first about replacing Hummer shields when they first came out, but after the first one they are very easy, typical GM windshield replacements...cowell and exterior parts that need removal snap off and on very easy...it is a 2-man set though.

Hmm... I do believe that the US Government/Military probably owns most of the Hummers ever produced;)

I know a number of Hummer owners. They said they bought it because of the SUV tax break. What are the mpg on these? 4mpg?
