Delta Training in Houston

I don't want to appear on this forum as a cheapskate, but is this 1 day class really $450.00?? :shock:This is why I am going part-time in the beginning because by purchasing the kit and other supplies there is not much cash left over to go to class on. Thanks

It's not just training.

It also has a ton of marketing information not from a supplier, but from actual windshield repair business owners who have made it to where most here aspire to be. We had to fly these guys down to Houston, just for this class.

Just one tip from them will be worth more than the $450.

Besides, if you don't want the marketing, you can always fly to Eugene for the $300 training and certification class!

Hands on training is invaluable. You are about to start a new business. Whether part time or full time you greatly increase your chances of suceeding by attending training. Even if it were possible (and my opinion is that it is not) to watch a video and suddenly do great repairs, there is a lot more to making it in this business than just good repairs.

$450 is a drop in the hat if you are serious about making money in the windshield repair business. just look at it like this $450 for the class, $150 flight , heck delta kits is even going to feed ya less than $100 bucks for the room . ok lets see.

I went to the Austin training in March and it helped me immeasurably. My wife is going through the training in Houston this Sunday. I could train her to fix chips but it is a whole lot more than that. When you see 30 other men and women committed to making this business work for them it lights a fire under your butt to go out and do great. You also put names with faces from the forum and make good contacts with other business owners from different cities. In some ways it is BETTER than a college degree, *cough cough* for $450.00. (ya I know, depends on which college)
After Delta training this weekend and the Mobile Tech Expo in January we are going to be moving into an excellent 2005!

Can I ask one question? Do you know of any other business opportunities in your area where you can start out with less than $1,000 and make a steady weekly profit between $$400- $600 for only 30 hours work? If you know of one, please share it with the rest of us! Even if you decided to deliver pizza for a living you'd still have to invest at least $2000-$3000 to have a somewhat reliable vehicle..... only to make $250-$300 per week

That $450 training class your in shock over will pay for itself in a few weeks. Your pizza delivery vehicle could takes months to pay for!
