Slow time of year

Post by scratchy »

From the election till New Years it has, and is, going to be slow... at least where I am at. Last year was tough. Some guy in town is trying to drum up work by putting in shields for 119.00 installed. Jeeeesh. Why not book a vacation rather than give work away!

Be even more positive at this time of year and the rewards are still out there, some people are doinig even more mileage which means more chips. When you are up against cheap replacement sell more of the safety facts of screen repair for instance a badly fitted screen, will not hold the airbag in place, may leak water, may give wind noise etc.

I adjust my personal targets down to 80% of my summer targets at this time which means instead of say
33,000 + screen repairs over 18 years and still learning.

Well said screenman! I am taking it a bit slower right now as a reward for working so hard during the rest of the year. I am also gearing up for 2005 and hope to increase volume by 30%.

This is my busy season the more gravel the spread the better it gets. Sure its a lot less fun working in the cold but I take the rain and snow days off the other days I go out and work with a $300 goal and come home when it reached
Think positive winter means more work
