Affordable Windshield Repair was my first choice but already taken in my area. Also you dont have to register with the state if you do not incorporate. Your legal name could be Affordable Windshield Repair by John Smith, at least here in the state of Florida.

I like my name, so have no intention of changing it now. But if I were starting over, I might go with something like "Drake's Clear View", or "Drake's New View" .

P.S. I would steer away from names with a suggestive nature or double meaning. While they may get a chuckle from some arenas, they make a lot of folks uncomfortable, and can cost you business. It's better to take the high road.

After all was said and done the wife's suggestion won!! thank you all for your input. Chips Away will be up and running within a month in the Lincolnton, Hickory Area of NC.
