I went to Hecht's, bought 3 button down short sleeve shirts(light blue, dark blue and white) for $20 each, on sale of course. Walked it over to the embroidery kiosk and had Allen's Auto Glass Repair stitched in for about $25 total.
EDIT: I also found a few pairs of Kenneth Cole Reaction slacks at Hecht's a few weeks later for $20-ish each. I wear these when talking to the high end dealerships and upper class/older money around here.

Re: Embroidery / Screen Printing
Well, I made a Company ID badge. I know...your thinking I took the cheap way out. Well kind of, it definately is cheaper but I must say, as a person who does not rush anything or do anything halfway, it looks pretty darn professional. Trust me, this will definately serve as a professional means of branding for anyone who can not afford embroidery or screenprinting right from the start, if done right and worn with nice clothes. When you build your capitol then use the ID in conjunction with your branded uniforms for very clean total apprearance. It will definately give you a very professional presence in the face of clients and potential clients. I realize that windshield repair might be a blue collar service and the ID gives the feel of white collar corporate america employee, but in an industry full of shylocks, doing shoddy repairs, we can certainly use an image boost. I have sent DK the file since it is in excel format. If they post it feel free to use the template.
