I'd love to get ahold of some Novus resins. Buddy gave me a small tube and it was the best I've used so far. Anyone know how to get that stuff?

Have you tried Magnibond I think you will find it as good. A lot of things can make a repair turn out well and the resin is just one of them. We have many guys over here doing repairs without drying out and blaming the resin. Its the same guys that blame their tools. Most of the top quality resins I have tried have very little between them. If I put some Delta resin in a .04 gram tube and labeled it Novus I defy anyone to tell the difference. In fact I invite anyone to come and see me and try.

split pit, what country and area are you in as your profile does not say, there may be a licence that can be sorted for a UK area if you want Novus resin. The second line resin (WR3F) is now commercially available without licence. Hope that helps

What is second line resin? That a bad batch from Novus that they sell cheap?
What about pit resin? I've heard that Novus tests in R & D against others showed quite a differance over time.

WR3F is just the original resin, not a bad batch, there are plenty of other companies doing that for themselves so that market is a little crowded. Was that a good change over time or a bad one?

I heard it was a good difference......held up well with no discoloration or yellowing, didn't age over time like some do.

Splitpit have you tried Delta resin? You will find it stands up to all the good points you mentioned if the repair is done well.

Is anyone of you looking for the white elephant by trying out different brands of resins ?
I started with DeltaKit Magnabond and am very pleased with it, flows just perfect, no discolorization and use it on any application : stars, chips, bullseyes and cracks !
My philosophy is to stick with one brand of resins , in order not to get confused and work with them to your abilities !
Simplify your toolkit !
