The thing that confuses me is that when i did this a few yrs ago. I would call the persons ins. company with the customer right there. Insurance would speak with him or her quik and give the phone back to me, i get the numbers, and that was that. Non of this registering with lynx or safelite stuff. this is all greek to me...Please help!!!
I would also like to learn more about this and how it's executed these days. Thanks!

Does anyone else have any more insight on this? I have the insurance and NWRA certification.

Lynx service is pretty much non existent since all state went to safelite.although state farm is still lynx but here they don't waive deductibles.I am preferred vendor of safelites and I had to promise my first born to get it.A lot of hoops to jump through. This made my life so much easier. My customers do not get steered anymore. This business is about how quick you are on your feet and how good you can sale.

well, sounds like a huge mess. I think i will just stick the method i ran before. A customer would come to me, i call up the ins co., they talk to the customer via phone, i agree to the terms via phone, get the numbers and done and send it in. I never had any probs before nore did anyone get sterred from me. I was actually quite amazed how quik everything was
