Cleat stop. Now I was shown this by an american guy who came over to teach me WSR in 1988 so if the terminology is wrong then you lot over there are to blame not me.
It is the drill hole and mini bullseye you put in a crack that goes under the seal, about 1/2 in from the edge of the seal, this adds overall strenght to the repair, If it does crack out again from the edge it will always stop here.

Prices in General
In my city, prices for chips are on average $25 for 1st and then $10 for each after that.

Gotcha screenman..as I understand this puting this cleat stop/mini bull near the edge of the windshield at the sealis supposed to give the resin more area to bond to? sounds good to me. I will make this part of my procedure at glass edge.
