Cleaning the windshield after a repair

Over here we have a saying nobody ever regrets buying quality. With the Wurth product you do not need to use very much for a fantastic job. $38 that is less than 1 screen repair.

:eusa_wall :eusa_droo i have been have this problem i have just found a great trick i now use a spray bottle filled with water and wipe it up with a white cloth napkin from a nice restraunt it works great i think glass cleaner sucks.

Does any know if glass cleaners such as containing ammonia will dull a polished pit?

I switched from Invisible Glass to Perfect Glass a few months back and have been extremely happy with it. I get it from bed, bath and beyond. It leaves no residue, no streaks and cleans everything on the windshield even the smudgy mess left from resin. The cost is ~$5.00 a can.

Anybody ever tried 'Misty'? Non-ammonia foaming cleaner - it's about $2.65 a 19 oz can including shipping from 'Hippo Industries' in NY.

I would suggest using "Microfiber" cloths specifcally used for glass cleaning(usually blue). You can find them at any auto parts store in the car wash section or at an auto detail supply store/web site.

I find that most aerosol glass cleaners work great, such as "spray away"

I also do what is called the two towel method. First, spray glass with cleaner. With one towel wie the entire area in a circular motion until the cleaner is nearly absorbed, then follow with the second towel. If your doing this in the hot sun then do smaller sections. This method worked great for me in my 5 years as a mobile detailer.
