Are we going for the record for posts on a thread??, if so i'll put in my bit.I use a Dow product that is used a lot in the UK. Available from Laddaws in 25 gallon drums. Superb cleaner.

Try the glass cleaner from CRC. I having been using it for a while now and Some of my customers have been asking about it as they say they have never seen their windshield so clean when i'm done with it.

I like the alcohol idea seeing as how its in the van anyways.

Well I use Alcohol. Don't know about the windshield but makes me brighter and shiner.

I tested a bunch of foam aresol sprays and found Stoner's Invisible Glass to be the best. NAPA brand worked almost as well, but the amonia odor was overpowering.
This was after making modified recepies of internet recipies for glass cleaner. Of all the concoctions I tested, my bottle marked #2 worked best. I then tested that bottle against $1-gallon- wiper wash and Windex. Both beat mine! Now I know!

I also use the CRC stuff.
