I don't do a lot of Insurance work but am a member of SGC and a few others. Average price for insurance repairs is $70 flat. That's what Progressive was paying....until an email from SGC says the repair price allowed now will be $71.63! OMG, that increase will pay for a third of a gallon of gas. How in Gods name did they come up with that figure? Unbelievable!

You are lucky, that would only pay for a seventh of a gallon over here. As you say odd increase, but spin that around and most of us want cheap insurance, so I guess we cannot get it both ways.

I am glad they went up to 71.63 I do a ton of progressive customers that adds up.
