I was in home depot looking at some tools and down the isle I saw a older veteran wearing his Korea hat. I walked up to him and Said SIR I WOULD LIKE TO THANK YOU FOR SERVING OUR COUNTRY. I put out my hand and gave him a hand shake, he looked at me and said thank you it was a long time ago, I said yes it was but I appreciate what you did for our country. He smiled and I felt good.....
God bless our vet where ever they are...
Thank YOU SIR

Re: Thank YOU SIR
That's a nice thing you did Johnnyone. In the hustle and bustle of our everyday lives, it is so easy to neglect others, especially those that have served and are currently serving.
Many service men and women will spend Christmas in another country, away from their loved ones.
Many veterans will spend Christmas alone. We really owe so much to those that have served and those serving.
