Anyone in the Fort Worth, TX area?

Post by Lyndon »

Hello everyone,

Just received my Delta Kits WSR kit Friday. Practiced on some friends vehicles this weekend. First one I'm pretty sure didn't work. Didn't really look like a bulls-eye or star. hard to explain, my friend is going to get a picture with his digital camera. The other two were on another friends windshield. I think it worked, one was a star, but I can still see the lines. However, I'm thinking I shouldn't see any lines at all.

Is anyone in the Fort Worth area that I could get with for a day and watch a pro at work? Training is coming up in April in San Antonio, but the way things look, I won't be able to afford it. A friend and I went in halves to get the Kit .

I want to add WSR to my existing business, but want to feel confident before offering it to my accounts.

Thanks

What i did was get a practice shield from my local glass shop. I told them I was doing a project for school and they gave me a 2x4 piece for free!! And practice...practice..practice. When filled correctly, you should only see a hairline on stars. On bullseyes, you should only barely see the pit area and maybe a ring around it.

Thanks,

Maybe I'm not totally crazy then. The lines were not as noticable as in the beginning. I know someone from a glass shop I could ask. I would still like to go out with someone so I could see the end results of a pro as opposed to my work strictly from practice. That way I'll know whether my end results are right or not.
