i im a little confused but here is the question. DO YOU HAVE TO GET "SET UP" WITH LYNX TO GET PAYED BY THEM ONLY ASKING BECAUSE THE APPARANTLY MAKE YOU GET INS. AN PAY A SET UP FEE OF $250>THANK AGAIN FOR THE HELP GUYS!

It's free to sign up with Lynx. If you get someone that says it's not, it's because they think you do replacements as well.

That's interesting. I paid $100 or more to Lynx about 2-1/2 years ago. I wonder if I could get a refund? Thanks for the info. Jeff.

Glassfixer,

Replacement guys have to pay to sign up, repairs don't, and i'm not sure how long it's been that way. At least 1.5 years, but likely longer.

So would this put you on the preffered repair list? I have been talking to my insurance company which seems to be everyones favorite STATE FARM. She told me at least in my area that I should chalk it up if I wasn't in Lynx services system.
