Incentives for Insurance Claims
Incentives for Insurance Claims
Does anyone have any ideas of how to give customers something extra for filing an insurance claim other than a free windshield repair? I have given customers a free oil change or car wash with an insurance claim, but im looking for new ideas. Got any?

You shouldnt have to bribe someone to give them something for free?(kind of a weak sales pitch but if it helps you close then so be it) and in my state its actually illegal. The law is gray so the replacement guys still waive the deductible until someone chooses to make an example of one. Im sure its probably the same way elsewhere.

I have thought of doing something like that and I have handed out discount coupons to customers when I was working in conjunction with other businesses but when I tried to hand out real value items to tough-to-get customers it nevber really worked well for me. I would never hand them out just as a rule of thumb for everyone. I would limit it to folks who have said no a couple of times and then let them know that if they "find the time sometime later today" that there is a free car wash coupon or whatever included.... but only as a last resort after they have declined a couple times.
