I'm currently putting together a glass display binder to actually show before and after results using four 4"x8" sheets of flat laminated. After having 3 of the four already accomplished (bullseye, star and combo) unfortunately I'm having problems making a nice batwing to complete this project.
Although I've been repairing damage in this biz for quite some time......I'll be honest in telling you I'm no expert in making it! Have any useful tips to share? I'd appreciate them;)
Thanks,
Starquest

Re: Display binder
Starquest.
The way I make batswings is to use a carbide tipped scribe held lightly about 1/8 inch above glass and hit it with small hammer, this seems to work every time for me it is the sort of break I create a lot for the people I train it is the one most people have problems with for some reason or another.
You may have to practise with the amount of force you use but I am sure you will get it.
Make sure you wear protective glasses.
