Strange twist in business

Post by scratchy »

There is a new competitor in town doing repairs and replacements. I am finding through some of my recent customers that when he gets a call for a crack repair he is sending it to us! I don't know what to make of it really. Should I be down that he is getting a piece of the easy chip work or happy that he won't do cracks???
I am relieved though that we CAN do cracks. Special thanks to everybody here that has shared useful knowledge!

My techs and I get constant referals from repalacement companies, that don't want to bother with any repair over a dime. If they can't convince the customer to replace, they refer. It's a good symbiotic relationship, we refer repalcement to them(the ws replacement techs are not always amused, we take the time to explain proper replacement techniques to the customer, they go into the replacement more informed. This meens the repacement company can't do a 45 min in and out replacement, but must follow all the steps involved in a solid replacement. I refer my english speeking customer to the 20/20 article on replacment as a guide line.) and they provide us with more chalenging repairs.

Merci
