Worried!?

Post by Kellertxgal »

I am wanting to start a Winshield repair business in my area, but I'm worried that there are already a too many people are doing this in my area. I'm worried that I may not get any jobs. Is the windshield repair business lucritive enough to keep everyone busy, including me??? I'd like to know what others think. Should I or shouldn't I, that is the question.
Thanks,
Sharon

Sharon , You can't beat the competition if you don't get in the ball game.

Sharron

There is always a market for a high quality service. To succced you must set yourself above the others in your professionalism, quality, and customer service. Where I work the population is 90,000 and there are 8 full service glass shops, and most do repairs for free(they are truly free, they don't bill the customer or the insurance), but they rarely do a repair, it,s a switch and bait tactic, which inturn brings me much business.

Enjoy

Having been succesful in several business ventures, there has always been the same common themes to my succcess:

1) The market is usually saturated with average to below average providers who can only compete on price.

2) Always exceed your clients expectations

3) Do what you say your are going to do

4) If you make a mistake, own up to it and correct it quickly

If you follow these themes and learn good business practices, you will do fine in almost anything you choose to do.

Hi Sharon .. don't worry .. you are not the only one out there in the new startup boat although it sounds like you have some sales experience which is in your favour.
