chip repair
Re: Need Help
Im having problems with the small breaks that have a small dot with small wings. How do I repair these types of breaks?
Re: chip repair
rickyreed,
Based on your post, I assume you tried to fill the break with no luck and will also assume that the impact point or dot as you mentioned is very small almost like a nick and does not penatrate the outer layer of glass. Based on that I would drill and pop a bullseye to make sure legs are connected and fill and cure as normal. Hope I understood your post correctly and this helps.
Pay it foward,
Brian

You are right about your thoughts. Next time I will drill halfway through the outer layer then pop a mini.
The break had not made it to the outer layer also. Do you still handle the break the same way.
