Has anyone taken the nga repair tech exam??? i'm wondering because i applied for it and my date to take it is fast approaching. i'm looking forward to it but i wasn't sure if anyone had taken it or planned to take it. the latest autoglass magazine shows that while there are 10,866 NGA certified auto glass technitions there are only 95 that's right ONLY 95 NGA certified repair technitions. wouldn't it go a long way toward our profession being viewed with the respect it deserves and be looked at less as a novelty if more techs were certified???
I may be off base and maybe there are angles im not seeing but almost all installers do some sort of repair, add that to the number of TRUE repair techs and it seems to me there should be a LOT more certified guys in the field. it would in my oppinion lend a sense of credibility wouldn't it??
